Tribute was given to Chadwick Boseman
Rihanna sang this song in honor of the late actor Chadwick Boseman. Let us tell you that Boseman acted in the first part of Black Panther. Apart from this, Boseman also appeared in The 5 Bloods, 21 Bridges and the James Brown biopic Get On Up. The actor passed away in 2020, four years after being diagnosed with cancer.

Talking about the song, director Ryan Coogler said that the song Lift Me has been written by Rihanna, Coogler, and Nigerian. This song will be seen in Marvel's 'Black Panther: Wakanda For Ever'. Black Panther will be released in theaters on November 11.
