From visiting the Ambani family’s residence and celebrating with his family to seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings at Maharashtra minister Ashish Shelar’s residence, the actor has been spotted at several festive gatherings this year.
His latest visit to Ashish Shelar’s residence in Mumbai turned into a talking point after videos from the occasion surfaced on social media. The footage showed Salman navigating a large crowd of fans and photographers while leaving the venue.
Salman Khan Folds Hands and Asks Crowd to Make Way
After offering prayers, Salman Khan stepped out amid a large gathering of fans and paparazzi. With people surrounding him and making it difficult for him to reach his vehicle, the actor was seen gesturing to the crowd to move back.
According to videos reported by multiple media outlets, Salman even folded his hands while asking people to clear the way. His security team attempted to create a path through the crowd as the actor moved towards his car.
The situation became particularly noticeable when children in the crowd were caught up in the rush.
Salman Khan Stops After Child Is Pushed in Crowd
One of the videos from the incident shows a young fan approaching Salman Khan as he was leaving. Amid the crowd, the child appeared to be pushed by a member of the security detail.
Salman noticed what had happened and stopped instead of immediately getting into his car. He interacted with the child, shook hands with him and helped him move away from the congested area before continuing towards his vehicle. India Today also reported that Salman objected when the young fan was pushed and then stopped to speak with him.
The moment quickly attracted attention on social media, with the interaction becoming one of the most widely shared clips from Salman’s Ganpati visit.
Why Did Salman Khan Question His Driver?
Another video from the same Ganpati celebration has also gone viral. In the footage, Salman Khan can be seen sitting in the front seat of his car and speaking sternly to his driver.
Reports say that a fan’s foot came under the car’s wheel as the vehicle was attempting to move through the crowded area. Salman appeared to question the driver about what had happened. India Today reported that the actor “pulled up” his driver after the incident, while other reports also described Salman speaking sharply to him.
The available videos show Salman’s reaction, but they do not independently establish all the circumstances surrounding how the contact with the fan occurred.
Salman Khan’s Aarti Moment With Sister Arpita
The driver incident was not the only Salman Khan Ganesh Chaturthi moment to go viral this year.
Earlier during the family’s Ganpati celebrations at Sohail Khan’s residence, Salman was seen performing an aarti for Lord Ganesha. During the ritual, he appeared to rotate the aarti plate in the wrong direction.
His sister Arpita Khan noticed the mistake and gestured to show him the correct way. Salman immediately adjusted his movements and continued the ritual. The light-hearted exchange between the siblings subsequently circulated widely on social media.
Salman Khan’s Ganpati Celebrations Across Mumbai
Salman has been making several appearances during Mumbai’s Ganesh Chaturthi festivities. He was previously spotted at the Ambani family’s Ganpati celebrations and later joined his family for celebrations at Sohail Khan’s residence. NDTV reported Salman’s presence at Sohail’s home on September 14, where he participated in the family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
His latest appearance at Ashish Shelar’s residence, however, has generated additional attention because of the crowd-related videos involving the child and the incident involving his car.
For now, the viral clips are drawing attention primarily to Salman Khan’s interactions with fans and his reaction during the chaotic moments outside the venue. The videos also highlight the challenges of managing large crowds when celebrities arrive for public religious celebrations.
