Veteran actor Mushtaq Khan—famous for delivering the iconic dialogue "Meri ek taang nakli hai, main hockey ka bahut bada khiladi tha..." (I have a prosthetic leg; I used to be a great hockey player...) in the Nana Patekar and Akshay Kumar starrer *Welcome*—passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Comedian Rajpal Yadav was deeply shocked by the news of Mushtaq Khan's passing. Sharing a post on social media, Rajpal Yadav revealed that he had met the actor just two hours before his death. He also shared details about his final meeting with Mushtaq Khan.
**Rajpal Yadav Devastated by Mushtaq Khan's Demise**
*Bhool Bhulaiyaa* actor Rajpal Yadav shared a post on his official Instagram account on Thursday, paying tribute to Mushtaq Khan. Sharing a photo of the actor smiling, he wrote in the caption, "I had met Mushtaq Bhai earlier today. I spoke to him; upon seeing me, he even shook my hand. He listened to the entire conversation and reacted to it."
Rajpal Yadav further wrote, "I still cannot believe that the person I met and shook hands with just two hours ago is no longer among us. We are helpless before destiny. Mushtaq Bhai was always popular and will always be remembered for his work. I pay my tribute to you with a heavy heart."
**Rajpal Yadav Shared and Then Deleted a Video**
Along with this post, Rajpal Yadav had also shared a video of his meeting with Mushtaq Khan, but he later deleted it. However, by the time the actor deleted the post, it had already been shared across various social media platforms. In this viral video, Mushtaq Khan is seen lying on a hospital bed, holding Rajpal Yadav's hand. Rajpal Yadav is also seen telling the actor that he will recover soon.
For those unaware, Mushtaq Khan had been battling cancer for a long time. The actor was undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. His business partner, Shivam, confirmed the news of his passing to a media portal following his critical condition.
