Vijay said, 'I had never gone anywhere to return, I was here.' Let us tell you that Liger was released with high expectations, but it had a bad situation at the box office. However, even after such a bad fate of the film, the popularity of Vijay Deverakonda among the people has not diminished. Hearing such a statement from the actor, the fans present there started shouting.

Liger was directed by Puri Jagannadh and starred Ananya Panday opposite Vijay Deverakonda. The name of Hindi cinema's veteran producer-director Karan Johar was also associated with the film. Speaking at the event, Vijay said, 'Wherever I go, fans keep saying, Anna, you have to come back. I wanted to tell you, I have not gone anywhere.' A video of the event went viral on social media.
