Vidyut Jamwal will play the character of Phoolan Devi's killer 'Sher Singh Rana' in the biopic, the story is related to Prithviraj Chauhan

Vidyut Jamwal, who is known for his strong and different actions in Hindi films, is playing the title character in Sher Singh Rana's biopic. Vidyut on Monday announced his new film through social media. The film is being directed by Srinarayan Singh, while the producer is Vinod Bhanushali.

On being a part of the biopic, Vidyut said- "Sher Singh Rana is my first biopic. I think destiny has combined all the aspects and brought the role of the fearless Sher Singh Rana to me. I am extremely excited to work with Vinod Bhanushali and Srinarayan Singh."

Talking about the casting of the film, Shrinarayan Singh says that when you hear the story of Sher Singh Rana, you will know that his life and his experiences were very exciting and full of intrigues, while Vidyut Jammwal made his debut in the action world. has created a distinct identity. In this film, he will be seen playing a character which he has never done before. It is about a man whose only aim was to do something for his country."

Talking about the film with Vidyut Jammwal, producer Vinod Bhanushali said, “Sher Singh Rana will throw light on a story that created a stir in India years back. Through this film, the audience will see Vidyut in a completely new way. .''

Who is Sher Singh Rana

Sher Singh Rana was allegedly found with the remains of Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan.
Known for bringing back from Kandahar, Afghanistan. Rana was arrested in 2001 for the murder of Phoolan Devi. He escaped from Tihar Jail in 2004. Rana's Ferrari had created a sensation across the country. On being arrested again, Rana had claimed that during this time he was successful in bringing the remains of Prithviraj Chauhan to India. The story of the film is based on the journey of Sher Singh Rana. In 2016, Rana got bail from the Delhi High Court and was released. Later Rana also formed a political party.
