Uuchai: No plans for online release of 'Unchai', team associated with the film made an emotional appeal to the audience

Many films have been made about 'friendship' in Bollywood. But when director Suraj Barjatya made a film on friendship, his style was different. Sooraj Barjatya's multistarrer Unchai is a vibrant and beautiful film on friendship. The film revolves around four friends who have come of age.

The audience's response to the film 'Unchai', which was released on November 11, has been extremely positive. The film was well-received by the audience. Fans are waiting for the OTT release of this film. However, the makers of the film on Tuesday made it clear that the film will not be available for online streaming for some time as they want the film to be seen in theaters for a longer period.

In a statement shared by the production team on Instagram, the entire cast and crew thanked the audience for the love the Hindi-language film has been receiving. The team wrote a post on social media saying – 'Thank you for the love the film is receiving from every audience, the audience went to the theaters with their family and loved ones and contributed to making 'Uchhayi' a big screen experience.

The production team further wrote in the post - 'The film is still in the theaters four weeks after its release. We are feeling proud as a unit. We sincerely wish that the film remains in the theaters for a long time and continues to receive a lot of love from the audience. At present, the makers have no plans to release the film on online mediums. So there the team wrote urging the audience – get out today, go to a theater near you. Take family and friends along. Re-live the experience of buying tickets. Celebrate 'Height'! Fill the theaters with the fragrance of your love for movies. As producers, your entertainment is our driving force. See you in the theatres."

The film narrates the story of four elderly friends who embark on a journey to Mount Everest to fulfill one of their friend's last wishes. However, he has to face a lot of difficulties due to his old age. During the journey, they have many emotional, personal, and spiritual experiences. During this, he also struggles with physical problems, but after all the difficulties, he reaches his destination. Let us tell you that stars like Neena Gupta, Sarika, and Parineeti Chopra have appeared in the lead roles in the film, played by Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, and Danny Denzongpa. So at the same time, the film 'Unchai' has so far earned a lot at the domestic box office.
