Actor Shahid Kapoor will kick off the new year with his favorite filmmaker, Vishal Bhardwaj. Their upcoming film, O Romeo, has been the subject of much discussion for a long time, with various reports surfacing about the film's shooting and cast.
Now, news is circulating that two famous Bollywood actresses, known for their glamorous presence in the industry, have joined the cast of Shahid Kapoor's O Romeo. Let's find out who these two actresses are.
These two actresses will be seen in O Romeo.
After memorable films like Kaminey, Haider, and Rangoon, actor Shahid Kapoor will once again be seen under the direction of filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj. The title of their fourth film together is 'O Romeo'. Initially, the project was being referred to as Arjun Ustara, but recently the makers officially announced the film's title.
In the film, Shahid Kapoor will be seen alongside Tripti Dimri and veteran actor Nana Patekar in important roles. Now, it is reported that Tamannaah Bhatia and Disha Patani have also joined the cast. This means 'O Romeo' will feature a stellar ensemble cast.
While there is still suspense surrounding Tamannaah and Disha's roles, given Vishal Bhardwaj's filmography, it's certain that each character will have multiple layers and complexities. It's worth noting that Disha will be making a cameo appearance in O Romeo. Shooting began last January. The grand sets for the film have been designed by Mustafa Stationwala, the renowned set designer behind films like Laal Singh Chaddha and Airlift.
When will O Romeo be released?
The pairing of Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor is quite popular. Therefore, fan excitement for O Romeo is very high. Regarding the release date of Shahid's upcoming movie, it is planned for release on Valentine's Day next year, in February. O Romeo will be released in theaters worldwide on February 14, 2026. Shahid Kapoor will start the new year with this movie.
