Twinkle Khanna: Twinkle Khanna wanted to become a professional instead of an actress, and said- I cannot compare myself with my parents

Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna is away from films these days. Apart from being an actress, she is a bestselling author and columnist. Twinkle Khanna, daughter of late superstar Rajesh Khanna and actress Dimple Kapadia, wanted to make a different career despite being from a Bollywood family. She has revealed this in an interview.
Twinkle wanted to become an accountant.
In a conversation with Lehren, Twinkle Khanna once said, 'I had not even thought of becoming an actress then. I wanted to become an accountant. I have grown up among actors since childhood, so I never went towards becoming famous. I just felt that fame was coming to me.'
People were afraid to act with me.
Talking about how the stardom of parents affected Twinkle Khanna's early days in the industry, she said, 'It supported me in such a way that many people thought twice before acting with me. I got my first break easily, but after that, you have to get work on your own like everyone else.'
Cannot be compared to parents
When compared to her parents, Twinkle said, 'I cannot be compared to my parents. It has taken a long way to do that. You are talking about a career that lasted for 10-20 years, I have just started. Would you ask any actor if he can compete with Amitabh Bachchan after being in the industry for 5 years?'
When she was asked how she felt about being called the daughter of a superstar, she said, 'I am very proud of his work, I think it is a great achievement.'
Started enjoying acting
Twinkle said that with time she started enjoying acting. 'I thought let's see if I enjoy it (acting) or not. After about two years, I started liking what I was doing, so I continued it. If I hadn't become an actress, I would have been a physiotherapist. I never studied it. I am very interested in it.'
