'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' has been entertaining the audience for many years. Recently, a new promo of the show was revealed, seeing which the fans were quite happy. The promo once again showed Dayaben's return to the Gokuldhan Society. Since then there were speculations that Disha Vakani is going to return to the character of Dayaben in the show, but now the producer of the show Asit Modi has told us that Disha is not going to return to the show.
During a recent interview, Asit Modi said, 'The character of Dayaben is going to return in the show, but Disha Wakani will not play it. Auditions are on for Disha's replacement and soon a new actress will be roped in to play Dayaben. When Asit Modi was asked that Disha had left the show five years ago, how did it take so long to get her replacement? On this, Asit Modi said, 'Disha worked with us for some time even after marriage. After this, he took a break for his child. He never left the show.
He said, 'We had hoped that Disha would come back, but then corona came and the lockdown was imposed. In such a situation, there were many restrictions during the shooting and Disha was afraid to start shooting back. Disha had a long relationship with the show, so we decided to wait. Even today Disha has not officially left the show. He is still a part of our family. Disha has recently become a mother again, so she cannot return to the show. Because of this, auditions are going on for the new Dayaben and soon Dayaben will return to the show.
Let us tell you that Disha Vakani has been keeping their distance from the show for the last five years. She left the show in 2017 during her pregnancy. At the same time, in May, she gave birth to a son. Fans love Disha in the character of Dayaben and now she is waiting for the new Dayaben.
