Singer KK Passes Away: Bollywood's famous playback singer KK passed away on Tuesday evening in Kolkata. KK has sung many songs not only in Hindi but also in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, and Gujarati films. In the meantime, let us tell you about an incident. The singer once said that he did not want his voice to be associated with 'just an actor.
The full name of the singer known as KK was Krishnakumar Kunnath. Now he is not in this world. However, his songs will live on among us forever. He has sung many hit songs. His songs mesmerize people. Millions of people like to listen to his songs. He was just 53 years old.
Let us inform you that KK was a prolific singer, he has sung songs for films like Raees, Jannat, Om Shanti Om, and Kites. The singer was last seen performing live at a concert in Kolkata, where he suddenly collapsed on stage during a performance. He had suffered a cardiac arrest, after which he was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The singer of the famous song 'Beetein Lamhe' was of shy nature. His nature kept him away from the glitz and glamor of the film industry. He sang more than 500 songs as a playback singer. In an earlier telephonic interview with IANS, KK had spoken openly about his songs. When the singer was asked about collaborating with Salman Khan on future planning after the success of the song 'Tu Jo Mila' from Bajrangi Bhaijaan, he had said, "It feels good to sing for him. But, I don't want to limit myself by being someone's voice. I don't want to be the voice of XYZ. I never wanted this in my childhood."
He further said that even after entering the field of music, he never thought that he would have to sing for a particular actor. The singer said, "My passion for singing has got me where I am today. It's not about being associated with a particular star. I never wanted that because then you get stuck in that."
It is noteworthy that KK did several albums apart from songs in films, which were well received. There is a wave of mourning in the entire country including Bollywood due to the untimely death of the singer.
