Thor Love and Thunder: 'Thor 4' ranked at this place in Marvel's high-budget films, know how much the magic of Thor's hammer worked
Jul 13,2022
Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)'s new offering film 'Thor: Love and Thunder', created by Marvel Studios, is showing its presence at the box office these days. This film is the 29th film of the story of this universe, in which Thor's hammer is once again showing its wonders. Marvel has again impressed the audiences after making a splash at the worldwide box office with 'Doctor Strange 2', which is proving to be a success in terms of earnings. The film 'Thor: Love and Thunder is Thor's fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). With this, he has become the only character in MCU's Avengers, whose four solo films have been released. Compared to the previous three films, this film performed much better at the box office, which clearly shows that the solo films of this superhero can be released from the Avengers camp in the future. Although the film's collection was slightly less than 'Doctor Strange' which was released this year, still, considering the response received from the audience for 'Thor 4', it is felt that this film will earn more than its budget. This film, which has made so many records, is Marvel's number four film in terms of expensive budget, let's know which film is made on which budget.
the movie was made in crores
Adorned with the performances of Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman, the film has been receiving a positive response from the audience since its release. The film is the fourth stand-alone Thor film in the MCU, carrying forward the story of 'Thor Ragnarok'. The film has in many ways changed the notion of a super-powerful superhero like Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Chris as 'Thor' continues to be counted among the funniest and most powerful Avengers in the MCU, this time again, Taika Waititi has cast 'Mighty Thor' in the film to take on him. Natalie Portman returns to the MCU with a bang as 'Mighty Thor' is none other than Thor's love interest, Jane Foster. While both these actors have left their mark on superhero characters, Oscar-winning actor Christian Bale has also been successful in making his mark as a villain. The makers spent around $135 million to make this story, adorned with such eminent actors, which makes it one of Marvel's high-budget films.
Which film is ahead of the budget of 'Thor 4'?
Four years after 'Avengers: Endgame', Avenger Thor's fourth solo film 'Thor: Love and Thunder' has become the film to join Marvel's list in terms of budget as well as Thor's most expensive solo film. But do you know what has been Marvel's top 10 high-budget movies so far and where 'Thor: Love and Thunder' comes in this list.
How much has 'Thor 4' earned
The audience is very fond of this film directed by Taika Waititi. 'Thor: Love and Thunder' got a bumper opening in India as soon as it was released, after which the film's earnings are seeing a tremendous jump at the box office. The hammered superhero film has so far earned a total of Rs 72.70 crore in India. Talking about the worldwide box office collection, the film 'Thor: Love and Thunder' has earned 302 million dollars or about 2400 crores worldwide on the first weekend.
