Marvel Studios' new film 'Thor: Love and Thunder, which was released as the 29th episode of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has created a new record by earning over Rs 60 crore in the first weekend of its release. The film has now reached number five in terms of earnings in the first weekend of Hollywood films released so far in the country. Disney's animation film 'The Lion King', which has held this position till now, has been dropped from the list of Top 5. The film has earned around Rs 18 crore in the first four days in Hindi alone.
Amazing first weekend
The film 'Thor: Love and Thunder', released in India a day before the US, made a grand opening of Rs 18.60 crore on the very first day. Although the collection of the film fell to Rs 11.55 crore on Friday, on Saturday, the film made a great comeback with a growth of 36 percent and earned Rs 16.70 crore on this day. According to Sunday's initial figures, the film has earned around Rs 18 crore in all languages ??combined. The film has now become the fifth highest-grossing first-weekend film among all Hollywood films that have been released in the country so far, with the film's first four-day earnings crossing Rs 60 crore.

Sunday's earnings of the film 'Thor: Love and Thunder' were around Rs 18 crore according to the initial figures. Along with this, the film was successful in registering its name at fifth place in the list of first weekend earnings among all Hollywood films released in the country. The location so far was followed by Disney's The Lion King, which earned Rs 54.75 crore in the first weekend at the time of its release in 2019. The film 'Thor: Love and Thunder' easily crossed this earning figure on Sunday.
