John's action thriller film Tehran, based on true events, is being directed by Arun Gopalan and will be shot in Iran. The film has been written by Ritesh Shah and Ashish Prakash Verma. The film will release in the year 2023 on the occasion of Republic Day. Once John while talking about his film said that he is very excited to shoot this film in Iran and it will be a great film.

Talking about John Abraham's work front, the actor was last seen in the film 'Attack', which proved to be a flop at the box office. However, the film has come on OTT. John will now be seen in 'Ek Villain Returns', which releases in theaters on July 29. Apart from this, he will also be seen playing an important role in Shahrukh Khan's film 'Pathan'. The film also stars Deepika Padukone along with Shah Rukh and John. The film is releasing on 25 January 2023. That is, a clash will be seen in John's film 'Tehran' and Shahrukh's 'Pathan'.
