The Supreme Court has granted interim bail in all cases to Alt News co-founder Mohammad Zubair yesterday i.e. on 20th July. Along with this, the High Court also raised many questions about the arrest of Zubair. The court has also ordered the dissolution of the SIT constituted by the UP government in the case of Zubair. In such a situation, Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar thanked the Supreme Court on her Twitter handle, giving her response on getting relief from the Supreme Court to Mohammad Zubair. He wrote, 'Thank you Supreme Court! You and Shakti Vrinda Grover!' On this tweet of the actress, constant reactions from social media users are coming out.

It is felt that thanking the Supreme Court in favor of Mohammad Zubair has been overshadowed by Swara.

The Uttar Pradesh government had filed a petition to ban Zubair's tweets. To which Justice DY Chandrachud of the Supreme Court said, 'How can a journalist stop writing. If he does something that violates the law, then he is accountable to the law. But when a citizen is raising his voice, how can we take advance action against him?'
