He said, 'My brother wanted to click a selfie with Sonu Nigam and while he was doing so, he and Sonu Nigam's bodyguard had an altercation. It was just a fan moment gone wrong. Later we also apologized to Sonu Nigam.

At the same time, the late night before this, Suprada Phaterpekar had presented clarification on this incident by tweeting many. She wrote, 'As the organizer of Chembur Festival, I would like to highlight some facts about the unfortunate incident that took place at the end of Chembur Festival 2023. Sonu Nigam was hurriedly removed from the stage after the program was over. My brother was trying to take a selfie with him. Due to the uproar, there was a stampede. The person who fell was taken to Jain Hospital and was discharged after the examination.

Next, he wrote, 'Sonu Nigam is healthy. On behalf of the organization's team, we have officially apologized to Sonu Sir and his team for this incident. Please do not believe any baseless rumors and those trying to politicize the matter.

Please tell that while saving Sonu Nigam in this attack, his close Rabbani fell down the stairs and was taken to the hospital. Sonu Nigam has filed an FIR at Chembur police station and has accused Swapnil of thrashing him. Singer said in his statement that his show started at 7 pm in Chembur and ended at 10 pm. As soon as he started getting down from the stage, a boy came from behind and caught hold of him, after which a scuffle started.
