Sonu Nigam shared a post on Facebook and Instagram and said that he is not on X and that the account created in his name is fake, through which information about him is being shared. In such a situation, confusion is being created among the people through that post. A picture of Sonu Nigam's meeting with Draupadi Murmu was shared from that X account, with the caption, 'Jai Jagannath. Honorable President Draupadi Murmu Madam is the pride of our nation.

Now Sonu Nigam has shared his reaction to this. The singer talked about this through a Facebook post. He shared the screenshot of this tweet and wrote, 'I am not on Twitter or X. Can you imagine that a single controversial post of this 'Sonu Nigam Singh' can put me or my family's life in danger? Can you imagine to what extent this man is playing with my name and credibility? We have no fault. And the press, administration, government, and law, who know about this, are all silent. Waiting for something to happen and then will express condolences.'
Is Sonu Nigam's account fake?
Along with his statement, Sonu also shared the screenshot of the fake post and questioned, 'Isn't this misleading? Why won't people believe that this is the real me?' However, the user on this account has not claimed anywhere that he is a singer Sonu Nigam. The username also reads 'Sonu Nigam Singh'. It is mentioned in his bio that he is a resident of Bihar and is a criminal lawyer, but people are sharing his posts thinking they are posts of singer Sonu Nigam.
