Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has a long history of controversies. Along with professional life, there have been many ups and downs in the personal life of the actress. However, the actress has rid herself of these controversies by staying positive every time. But there is a controversy that is not taking the name of giving up the actress for the last 15 years. This controversy is related to Hollywood actor Richard Gere, who kissed the actress the hand of the actress on stage in front of everyone.

15 years ago today, Shilpa Shetty and Richard Gere participated in the AIDS awareness program organized in 2007. During the program, Richard was seen hugging Shilpa and kissing the actress repeatedly on stage. Due to this, a case was registered to accuse both of spreading obscenity. But the big thing is that even after 15 years, the verdict of the case has come.

The Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Mumbai has acquitted Shilpa Shetty of all charges. The court says that the actress was a victim of Hollywood actor Richard Gere's actions. The evidence presented in the court does not prove that the actress was involved. The magistrate said that it is visible in the video submitted in the court that Shilpa herself was not aware of this. The actress herself was stunned when Richard Gere kissed Shilpa.

Significantly, 15 years ago, two cases were registered against Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty for spreading obscenity in Rajasthan and one in Ghaziabad. Ten years after the case was registered, the actress filed a petition and appealed to transfer the case to Mumbai. On which the Metropolitan Magistrate has now given his decision.
