In this film, Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the role of Inspector Shuddh Singh. Sanjay Dutt's ruthless style was seen in the recently released film's teaser.

Talking about the film, its trailer will be released tomorrow i.e. on June 24. While the film is all set to hit the theaters on July 22. Produced by Aditya Chopra, 'Shamshera' is being directed by Karan Malhotra. This period drama action film will also release in Tamil and Telugu languages. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, Vaani Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Saurabh Shukla, Ronit Roy, and Tridha Chaudhary will also be seen in the film. Ranbir Kapoor's double role will be seen in the film.
