Shamshera Movie Review: 'Shamshera' rests on Ranbir and Sanjay Dutt's shoulders, the rest of the film becomes 'Thugs of Hindostan 2'

The anticipation of Ranbir Kapoor's comeback film 'Shamshera' after four years on the big screen ended the wait of his fans and on Friday, the film was released on more than five and a half thousand screens across the world. Yash Raj Films hasn't had a good golden jubilee year and the company's last release 'Shamshera' this year is also looking tough at the box office. The story of the film is largely inspired by Sultana Daku, who was active in western Uttar Pradesh. There is also a Nagina in the film and there is also the incident of Sultana Dacoit committing a robbery by sending a letter first. And yes, an English officer named Freddy Young, the real British officer called to catch the Sultana robber, is also present here. There is only as much difference between thinking of a film and making a film as it is in writing the name of the film's writer Khila Bisht in Hindi as 'Beast' in the opening credits.
