Shamshera Box Office Collection: Ranbir Kapoor's magic didn't work, 'Shamshera' was sluggish over the weekend

Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor starrer 'Shamshera' is on the verge of a flop. The opening day collection of the film did not raise many expectations. After that, the weekend also proved to be disappointing. Ranbir Kapoor is back on the big screen after four years. It was believed that this big-budget film is perfect for Ranbir's return and he will explode. However, that doesn't seem to be happening now. Sunday's collection figures show that the road ahead for the film is not going to be easy in the coming days.

On the first day, 'Shamshera' had a collection of 10.25 crores. It was believed to be fine and it was expected that it would increase on Saturday and Sunday but it was not seen on both days. The film crossed the 10.50 crore mark on Saturday and 11 crores on Sunday. The film has earned a total of 31.75 crores in 3 days.
The real challenge will be on Monday
Even for trade analysts, the collection of 'Shamshera' is surprising. In such a situation, the weekdays are going to be full of challenges for the film. If there is a huge drop in its collections on Monday, then the film will stand on the verge of flopping. UP, Bihar and Rajasthan saw a 20 percent growth on Sunday but the film did not do well in Gujarat. Like 'Shamshera', 'Heropanti 2' and 'Runway 34' also had a similar situation. 'Shamshera' is showing on this pattern.
Now eyes fixed on 'Brahmastra'
'Shamshera' was produced by Yash Raj Banner. Its director is Karan Malhotra. The film did not get very good reviews from the critics. After the situation of 'Shamshera', now the eyes are fixed on Ranbir's upcoming film 'Brahmastra'. There is already a lot of buzz about the film. It has to be seen whether Ranbir's film can do wonders or not.
