The trailer of Taapsee Pannu starrer film Shabaash Mithu has been released. The film is a biopic of Mithali Raj, former captain of the Indian women's cricket team. Mithali Raj's journey from childhood to becoming a cricketer will be shown in this film. This film was in the news for a long time and its trailer is also getting a lot of love. Now in the same sequence, veteran cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has also praised Mithali Raj's passion and courage along with the trailer of Shabaash Mithu.
Sachin Tendulkar tweeted, quoting the trailer of 'Shabaash Mithu' shared by cricketer Sourav Ganguly. While praising, he wrote, "The trailer of Shabaash Mithu is very touching. Mithali has inspired millions to dream and follow her passion and I am looking forward to seeing this film. Along with this, Sachin has also wished the entire team of the film.
The story of Mithali Raj's struggle has been brought out very well in the trailer that was released today and Taapsee's acting in the lead character also looks very strong. The trailer shows how Taapsee Pannu aka Mitthu has to fight for herself everywhere to make a career in a male-dominated sport, cricket, but she doesn't give up and makes dreams come true with her passion.
Shabaash Mithu, a sports drama film directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Viacom18 Studios, is all set to hit the theaters on July 15. The film will not only show the struggles of Mithali Raj's personal life, but as well as the ups and downs of success and failures in her 23-year career.
