How did Vicky choose the path of acting?
In conversation, Vicky Kaushal was asked whether he had ever thought that he would become an actor. On this Vicky said, I was always active on stage in school and college. I was a student of maths. Engineering studies were going on. The teacher took us to a factory, then I realized that this was not for me. Before that I used to say that I would do courses, and do a job, then I found that I find happiness in acting. Plan B doesn't work. If someone thinks that he has to do acting, then only he should come into this field.
How was your early career?
In Samvad, Vicky Kaushal was asked whether he has ever got a film without auditioning or has ever been rejected in an audition. On this, Vicky said that I got the role in 'Manmarziyaan' in 2018 without any audition, I got all the other films only after auditioning. If I got selected out of 10, I got rejected on 10,000 occasions. Vicky spoke his famous dialogue on being rejected in the audition given for films in Bollywood. He said, 'Why does this sorrow never end?'
Vicky spoke on his journey in Bollywood from Masaan till now
Vicky Kaushal was asked how was the journey from 'Masaan' till now. When did you feel that you have made your place? On this, Vicky said that after every film I think whether I have made a place. I was scared even before this movie. I don't feel like I've made it yet. However, it feels good. First were looking for work. My friends' jobs were looking good. There used to be pictures of everyone with new cars on the WhatsApp group, then I used to travel in buses and rickshaws. Then once I felt that I was doing the right thing, right? But later confidence increased. In the beginning, we expect from friends, and families how they will take our work. Gradually we start to know whether we have done the right thing or not. Now your satisfaction along with that of other people also matters.
