Samrat Prithviraj In Cinemas: Akshay Kumar's film released on 5000 screens worldwide, tax free in these three states including UP

Akshay Kumar's most awaited and most important film of his career, Samrat Prithviraj has been released in theaters on June 3. This is the first film of Akshay's career, in which he has played a character related to middle history. Akshay has done films on historical events before but has gone so far behind for the first time. Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan has a very special place in Indian history and society. Such a picture of bravery and might is rarely found in history.

Prithviraj has been directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who made a classic serial like Chanakya and a popular film like Pinjar. Hence, there are high expectations regarding historical facts from the film. The film is produced by Yash Raj Films. This is also the first history-based film of the banner.

Talking about the rest of the star cast of the film, former Miss World Manushi Chillar is starting her innings in cinema as an actress. She is in the role of Princess Sanyogita. Sanjay Dutt is in the role of Kaka Kanha and Sonu Sood as Chandvardai, who wrote Prithviraj Raso, the heroic story of Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan. Manav Vij is in the character of Mohammad Ghori.

In India, Samrat Prithviraj has been released on 3750 screens, out of which 200 screens are for Telugu and Tamil versions, and the rest are for the Hindi language. Overseas, the film is being launched on 1200 screens. Booking for the film started on 29th May.

Tax-free in three states

Ahead of its release, the film has been declared tax-free in three states Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Madhya Pradesh. Ticket sales are expected to increase in these states as the film is tax-free. Although this may keep the initial collections low, the film will reach more audiences. Akshay has promoted Emperor Prithviraj fiercely. Akshay had also held a screening for Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The title of Emperor Prithviraj was earlier only Prithviraj, but on the demand of Karni Sena, the makers changed it to Emperor Prithviraj. A petition was also filed in the Delhi High Court regarding the caste of Prithviraj Chauhan, on which the makers said that his caste has not been shown in the film.
