The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has filed a draft charge in the special court against Rhea Chakraborty, brother Shouvik Chakraborty and others accused in the death of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. In this draft, NCB has claimed that Rhea Chakraborty used to buy drugs for Sushant Singh. After this revelation, Riya's troubles are going to increase. However, this is not the first case when Riya's name has come into controversy. Even before this, Riya Chakraborty has made headlines many times due to controversies.
My career started like this
Riya Chakraborty was born on July 1, 1992, in Bangalore. She started her career in 2009 with the small screen MTV reality show 'TVS Scooty Teen Deewa'. She could not become the winner of this show but she had to be satisfied by being the runner-up. After that, she was seen hosting many shows on MTV. After this Riya auditioned for 'Band Baaja Baaraat' but she was rejected.
Debut in Bollywood with this film
If luck did not support Bollywood, then Riya turned towards the South. In the year 2012, his Telugu film 'Tuniga Tuniga' was released. A year later, he made his Bollywood debut with 'Mere Dad Ki Maruti'. Both the films could not do anything special. In 2014, Sonali Cable, directed by Charudutt Acharya and produced by Ramesh Sippy and Rohan Sippy, also turned out to be a flop in Rhea's career.
movies that flopped
After this, in the year 2017, the actress tried her luck with Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi. She appeared in the film 'Bank Chor' based on a bank robbery. This film also flopped. In the next year 2018, she appeared in the romantic drama film Jalebi. This film of Riya Chakraborty's career also proved to be a flop. After the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the actress' Chehre film with Amitabh Bachchan was released in 2021, it also flopped.
pictures with actor Rajeev viral
So far in 10 years of her career, Riya Chakraborty is yearning for a hit film. Not only this, but Riya's life is also full of controversies. After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, actor Rajeev shared a very close picture of himself with Riya on social media. Within minutes this picture had spread like fire and Riya had to face the trolls. After a lot of criticism, he deleted these pictures.
Questions raised on relationship with Mahesh Bhatt
Rhea Chakraborty has also been in the limelight in her on-screen career and off-screen life with Mahesh Bhatt. All such pictures of Riya and Mahesh Bhatt have been shared on social media, after which questions have been raised about their relationship. However, in this case, Riya said that Mahesh Bhatt is like a father to her.
