Mumbai Police has recorded the statement of Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. Let us inform you that an FIR was registered against him at Chembur police station last month for posting his bold pictures on social media. According to news agency ANI, the actor appeared before the investigating officer at around 7 am on Monday. He answered the questions of the officers for two and a half hours. And then left the police station around 9:30 in the morning.

Officials can call Ranveer Singh again

During the conversation with the news agency, the officials even said that Ranveer Singh would be called for questioning again if needed. Let us inform you that earlier the Chembur police station had summoned actor Ranveer Singh to appear on August 22. However, the actor had sought two weeks to appear in this regard. After which he was given the date of today i.e. August 29.

Case registered against the actor under these sections

Let us inform you that in the notice issued against Ranveer Singh, it was written that the Bollywood actor will have to appear in Chembur police. It was also mentioned in the notice that a case has been registered against the actor under sections 509, 292, 294 of IPC, section 67A of IT Act for doing a bold photoshoot and hurting the sentiments of the people.

It is worth noting that the actor had done a nude photoshoot for a magazine in the last month. In these pictures, Ranveer is seen flaunting his muscular body with full confidence. He was embroiled in controversies after his photos surfaced. On the work front, Ranveer was recently seen in Netflix's interactive special Ranveer Vs Wild opposite Bear Grylls. At the same time, now the actor will be seen in the film Rocky and Rani's love story with actresses Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan.
