Ranbir’s Kapoor flight is Running late

Ayan Mukerji has postponed his superhero film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt so that his mentor could begin his directorial with RK. Ayan Mukerji has been working on a superhero flick since the release of his last directorial, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in 2013. He was set to start the Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer in mid 2015 and his good pal Ranbir had alloted a chunk of dates to him too.
A source close to the development said, "Karan wanted to start his film first but Ayan had Ranbir's dates from June." Karan who produced both of Ayan's films, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Wake Up Sid, then asked his protege to spare him those dates. Ayan agreed as he couldn't really say no to Karan," the source added. "Ayan now plans to use the gap in time to go back to his script and polish it further as it is a really ambitious project."
However, the story doesn't end there. It is learnt that Karan has offered him producer credit in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in return of RK's dates. This will make Ayan one of the youngest producers in India. "They are still talking about it, but it is definitely a possibility. Karan's film will now start by mid next year and will release in June 2016. The film will be shot in New York, Paris and London."
Ayan told , "Yes, Karan's film will go on floors before mine. I will use that time to polish my script."
