Meanwhile, Pandit Rajesh Sharma, who got both married, has told about the rituals that took place under the pavilion. Many rituals of marriage are involved from the groom's Sehra Bandhai to Kanyadan.
Sharing interesting things related to the marriage of Alia and Ranbir, Rajesh Sharma told Hindustan Times, 'He did all the functions taking the blessings of Rishi Kapoor Ji. It was a traditional Punjabi wedding, in which the Kapoor family was following all the customs. He made sure that everything is as it has always been. Ranbir's wish was that Panditji should get him married after explaining the whole method. During this, Ranbir and Alia took seven vows including having a healthy baby.
Rajesh Sharma also told that Ranbir had made a deal with him to get his marriage done on the muhurta of his upcoming film 'Shamshera'. He told that when he met Ranbir in the muhurta of 'Shamshera', he had said you will get me married.

Talking about the wedding rituals, Rajesh Sharma reveals that all four of his sisters (Natasha Nanda, Riddhima Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor) vaccinated Ranbir during Sehra Bandi.
