The wedding rituals of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have started today. At 2 pm, Pitru Puja took place in the memory of the late Rishi Kapoor and all their ancestors at Ranbir's Pali Hill home 'Vastu Apartment'. In which the family members of both were involved. After this Ganesh Puja took place and now the couple will have a pre-wedding ceremony like Mehndi-Turmeric in the apartment. Guests have started coming for the ceremony. After the ceremony, Ranbir-Alia can again tie the knot on April 14 in this house according to Punjabi customs.

Meanwhile, many photos and videos have surfaced on social media, in which it can be seen that the 'Vastu Apartment' is decorated with lights. A photo has surfaced, in which Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor, sister Riddhima and their daughter Samara were spotted outside the Vastu apartment for the puja ceremony. Neetu-Riddhima and Samara were seen wearing all three traditional dresses.
In another photo, Ranbir's aunt Reema Jain was also spotted outside the house for the puja ceremony. She is wearing a yellow traditional dress for the couple's Haldi ceremony. Apart from these, guests are also coming to 'Vastu Apartment', whose videos are going viral on social media.
Pre-wedding ceremonies like Puja, Haldi-Mehndi, Sangeet and only their family members, close friends, and some celebs will attend the wedding. It is being told that only 28 guests have been invited to this intimate wedding. Tight security arrangements have also been made for the marriage. The responsibility of security has been given to Mumbai's Best Security Force '9/11' agency.
Police deployment
DCP Manjunath Shinge said- We have been informed about the private function of the Kapoor family and we have deputed some constables so that no law is broken. This is a private matter, but seeing the media involvement in it, the Kapoor family has requested the police to be stationed there as well.
Tape on guest's mobile cameras
A video has surfaced in which the cameras of mobile phones of every person coming to the Vastu Apartment are being switched off by affixing tapes so that no one can leak photos and videos of the ceremony. More than 250 bouncers will also be deployed for the security and privacy of the VIP guest at the wedding. Apart from 'Vastu Apartments', 'Krishna Raj Bungalow', 'RK House' and 'RK Studio' have also been decorated with lights and flowers for the wedding. Their photos and videos are also going viral.
National-International Foods on the Menu
The Kapoor family is very fond of food. This is the reason why Neetu Kapoor has hired special chefs from Delhi and Lucknow for her son's wedding. The wedding menu will have a variety of national and international foods. Also, there will be a counter of Delhi's special chaat. Alia is vegan, so there will be 25 counters of vegan and vegetarian foods at the wedding.
Signed nondisclosure agreement
Ranbir-Alia has signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with the wedding team. According to this, the team is not allowed to share any photo or video of the couple's pre-wedding ceremony and wedding. The couple's make-up artist and stylist are also attending the wedding. He has also been signed on NDA. The wedding team The Shaadi Squad has also signed this agreement. Under the agreement, all of them will not even be able to talk about marriage.
List of celebs attending the wedding
Ranbir has also invited technicians, hair and make-up artists, spot boys, and all the assistants who have been working with him for years to his wedding. The names of some guests have also surfaced. These include the couple's best friends director Ayan Mukerji, Karan Johar, Aditya Roy Kapur, Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Zoya Akhtar, Varun Dhawan, Rohit Dhawan, designer Masaba Gupta, Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Kapoor, fashion designer Manish Malhotra and Anushka Ranjan.
Ranbir-Alia will give langar at the gurdwara
Ranbir and Alia are getting married according to Punjabi customs. There is also a ritual in Punjabi wedding rituals that after marriage the newlywed couple has to organize langar in the gurudwara. Due to this ritual, Ranbir-Alia will also organize langar after marriage at a gurdwara located between Juhu and Bandra in Mumbai.
Ranbir's parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh also kept langar in this gurudwara after marriage. However, Ranbir-Alia will not be present in the gurdwara. Serving and prayer will be done on behalf of the married couple.
The couple will host a grand reception in Mumbai
After the wedding, the couple will also host a reception in Mumbai's 'Taj Mahal Palace' or 'Grand Hyatt', which will be attended by many celebs including family, friends of both. Alia will wear an outfit designed by her close friend Manish Malhotra at this grand reception.
