Debut on the small screen in 1997
Ram Kapoor has so far shown his acting skills in many films and TV shows. But for the first time, he encountered acting during his college days. When after a challenge and the order of the captain, he participated in a play and played the lead role. After this, he realized his love for acting. In 1997, he entered the world of TV with the serial 'Nyay'. After this, he became a part of many shows including 'Ghar Ek Mandir', 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'And Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane'.
The heart was lost on co-star
Ram Kapoor met Gautami during 'Ghar Ek Mandir'. Both played the role of husband and wife in the show and during that time both of them fell in love. After dating for some time, Ram proposed to Gautami for marriage. After this, both got married in 2003. Both have a daughter and son. Ram Kapoor once told that he used to smoke a lot in the early days. But after his daughter's refusal, he gave up this habit.
Everyone was surprised by the transformation
Ram Kapoor used to weigh 130 kg, but suddenly he surprised everyone with his transformation. After appearing in the movie Loveyatri, he started working on his fitness and managed to lose 30 kgs. He used to eat nothing for 16 hours along with workouts to keep himself fit. Waking up in the morning, he used to do weightlifting for an hour and then do cardio at night too.
