Puneeth Rajkumar: Fans gave a unique tribute to Puneet on Ganesh Chaturthi, worshiping with Bappa's idol

The fan following of late South Industry actor Puneet Rajkumar is not taking the name of decreased even after his death. While the superstar used to rule the hearts of his fans, his fans also pay tribute to his hero in different ways. While the school children of Bengaluru had recently announced that they would launch a satellite in the name of Puneeth Rajkumar, during the colorful program of Ganesh Utsav, there was a scene that brought tears to everyone's eyes. During Ganesh Utsav too, a special tribute was paid to actor Puneet Rajkumar, whose pictures are becoming increasingly viral on social media.
South superstar Puneet Rajkumar is no more but his stardom remains the same even today. This Ganesh Chaturthi, idol makers, and their fans find a special way to keep his memory alive. Recently, several residents of Bangalore were seen buying the idols of late actor Puneeth Rajkumar along with the idols of Lord Ganesha. Puneet Rajkumar passed away on October 29 last year due to a heart attack. Puneet Rajkumar, who has given many blockbuster films, is loved by his fans wholeheartedly. He was known as 'Powerstar' for his stellar performances in Kannada films.
Puneet Rajkumar was not only the star of films like 'Appu' but he was also a celebrity television host and singer. Puneeth Rajkumar was also awarded an honorary doctorate posthumously by the University of Mysore earlier this year. Puneet's wife Ashwini had received her doctorate on behalf of her late husband. Simultaneously in August, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai announced that Puneeth Rajkumar would be honored with the 'Karnataka Ratna' award on November 1, on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava.
Apart from being a superstar on the film screen, Puneet Rajkumar was also a social worker. No one can compete with Puneet Rajkumar in philanthropy and social service. The actor started 45 free schools, 26 orphanages, 16 old age homes, and 19 gaushalas while he was alive. All these are running successfully even after his death. Apart from this, he had also taken the responsibility of higher education of 1800 orphan daughters.
