Now, actress Nikita Rawal has questioned Ranbir Kapoor's casting as Lord Ram, referring to an old comment by the actor about his dietary preferences.
Nikita Rawal Questions Ranbir Kapoor’s Casting
Speaking to Bollywood Mascot, Nikita Rawal said she does not consider Ranbir Kapoor the appropriate choice to portray Lord Ram. She referred to an old interview in which Ranbir discussed eating red meat and described himself as a beef lover.
Rawal argued that such comments could hurt the religious sentiments of some Hindus and questioned whether Ranbir could understand and portray the character of Lord Ram appropriately.

Rawal strongly criticised the casting and maintained that Ranbir was not suitable for the role. She also questioned whether an actor with the dietary preferences discussed in his old interview could connect with the character and its religious significance.
