The National Film Awards are one of the highest-paid awards in Indian cinema. They are organized annually by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, to encourage Indian film artists. All preparations are underway for this year's 71st National Film Awards.
On August 1, 2025, the nominees for the 2023 National Film Awards were announced, including Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Vikrant Massey. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the National Film Awards were not held for two years, and as a result, films and actors from last year's 2022 and this year's 2023 awards are being honored. The ceremony will begin at 4 pm at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi. But before that, let's take a look at the Indian star who has won the most National Awards:

Kamal Haasan has also received National Film Awards for Moondram Pirai, Nayakan, Thevar Magan, and Indian.

While Naseeruddin Shah was honored with the National Film Award three times for films like "Iqbal," "Paar," and "Sparsh," Ajay Devgn not only won hearts with "The Legend of Bhagat Singh" and "Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior," but also received National Film Awards for them.
Those who have won three National Film Awards each in the Best Actor category include Nana Patekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Pankaj Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, and Mammootty.
These stars have also won National Film Awards.
The list of National Film Award winners includes stars like Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Mimi actress Kriti Sanon, Anil Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan.
