Miranda Kerr exercises even in flights

Los Angeles, March 18 (IANS) Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr adores doing yoga and going hiking, and she says she always finds the time for a short burst of exercise wherever she is -- even up in the air!

As she spends a lot of her time flying for work, Kerr has found ways to keep fit while up in the sky, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"I was a gymnast when I was young and then when I stopped I started yoga. I really like to practise, even if it's just 10 minutes, it's very good for balance the mind, the body and spirit. I believe everyone should find an exercise they really enjoy. For me I like yoga, hiking.

"There's little exercises you can do sitting down, for me on an aeroplane -- contract and release, it's really good for the stomach," she said on Japanese TV programme "Skkiri".

The 31-year-old beauty, who has four-year-old son Flynn with ex-husband Orlando Bloom, tries to eat healthy most of the time, but she says she would never deprive herself of her favourite indulgences like chocolate or fried chicken.

"I like to eat 80 per cent healthy -- fresh food organic food, vegetables, goji berries, chia seeds, a lot of greens. I try to get my nutrients from my food," she said.
