The best producer and director Prakash Jha, who has given Bollywood superhit films related to political, and social issues, showing people the mirror of society on the big screen with his fine and real stories, is now going to be seen in full swing of acting, from the film Matto Ki Cycle. Prakash Jha is playing the character of a laborer for whom the cycle is his world. When this role came to Prakash Jha, he immediately agreed without delay.

Prakash Jha says about the film, "The story of the film touched my heart, it is the story of such helpless jobs who build big highways, roads, and bridges, but their lives are stuck between such rocky roads. Who has no destination, where there is no light, only the darkest nights of pain survive? This film took me back to my memories of 1980 when I started my career with documentary films and 'Damul' which was dedicated to the workers. It was based on the situation. When the director of the film Ghani came to me with this script and he asked me to play the lead role of Matto when I heard the story of the film, I said yes not only to the acting but to assist the production. Hands out too."

Director M Ghani says, "It is the story of a daily wage laborer and their family where their cycles are what they love most. The film is a contemporary theme, but its circumstances, events, and people live my life." The film has been shot in Mathura."

'Mattoo Ki Cycle' is a hopeful story. Matto is a daily wage laborer who cycles to the city to earn money for his family of four. The film tells how he and his family discuss the simple pleasures of life. Will his life change, will Matto finally be able to fulfill his dream of buying a new cycle?

Apart from Prakash Jha, Matto's cycle also stars talented theater artists from Mathura, Anita Choudhary, Dimpy Mishra, Aarohi Sharma, and Idhika Roy. Which premiered at the 25th Busan International Film Festival in 2020. Helmed by debutant filmmaker M. Ghani, it is a slice-of-life film. The film also had its US premiere at the 17th annual South Asian International Film Festival (SAIFF). The film has also become a part of the Kafi festival and is now all set to release in Zee theaters on September 16.
