London Files Review: Arjun Rampal misses the target, read the full review here before watching 'London Files'
Apr 21,2022
With the opening of cinema halls, the challenge before OTT is again to keep the audience on mobile and smart TVs. Viewers are rushing out of their homes to the world of entertainment on the big screen and OTT is still seen repeating the familiar stances of crime stories over and over again. After seeing the name of director Sachin Pathak, who was identified with the web series 'Rangbaaz' on Zee5, associated with the web series 'London Files', it was curious whether any new form of crime world would be successful in presenting to the audience. ? Arjun Rampal's presence in the series also binds this hope. The series would have started in a very strong way.
Who is the Formula Criminal?
Like all other crime series, Arjun Rampal's 'London Files' also tries to maintain the suspense till the end as to who is the culprit? Trying to maintain tension. The backdrop of London has a mystical charm of its own. But by the time of the third episode, the roads start winding. And, it is understandable that the story is trying to create crime with a strong plot, but there is a synergy between its writing team and the direction team. In the crime thriller, as soon as the audience starts to understand what is going to happen next, the fun of watching the series continues.
missing track story
The only attraction of watching the web series 'London Files' is the presence of Arjun Rampal in it. The story of this web series starting from the atmosphere of dharna demonstrations is the story of Detective Om Singh of the London Police. Swords have been drawn regarding the law being made against the settlers from outside. And, meanwhile, the daughter of Amar Roy, the city's iconic and feared personality, goes missing. After this in the web series 'London Files', the policeman has to find the missing daughter. The layers of one of his stories slowly begin to unfold. And, at the same time, many such things begin to be added to it, which start a web series 'London Files' astray from its initial intention.
deviant story
Arjun Rampal's web series 'London Files' has not been promoted much by its OTT Voot. The country which has made magazines like Satya Katha and Manohar Kahaniyan the best-selling magazines of the country has always had a fascination for crime fiction, but matters come to a standstill on the bridge that can be built between the choice of the viewer and the choice of the creator of the web series. The web series 'London Files' stops between this bridge. It doesn't understand what to focus on, on Om Singh's abilities or his inner turmoil.
Focus on Arjun Rampal
Actor Arjun Rampal tries his best to fit in as a cop battling his inner storm. Her hard work also gets shingles, but there is nothing in her character that will stay with you after finishing the series. The same is the case with Purab Kohli. Watching the series also shows that its actors are not particularly interested in their characters, they are just doing their job. Purab Kohli's work is not too much. Yes, he seems to be trying to play honestly as much as he can. Sagar Arya has done a good job. His acting may show some good characters in the coming days. However, the absence of Sapna Pabbi does not seem to make much difference to the web series London Files'.
see not see
If you are one of those people who just can't sit down to watch anything by turning on Smart TV on weekends, then the advice for you is not to waste time on the web series 'London Files'. Yes, if you are a big fan of Arjun Rampal then this series can be time pass for you.
