According to the report of news agency PTI, Ram Gopal Varma's troubles increased in this case on January 21. Actually, on this day Andheri's judicial magistrate Y P Pujari had convicted Verma in the case under the Negotiable Instruments Act.

Not only this, the magistrate had ordered Verma to be jailed for three months and to pay Rs 3 lakh 72 thousand 219 to the complainant within three months.

A non-bailable warrant was issued against the filmmaker.
A Mumbai court heard Ram Gopal Varma's petition to suspend his jail sentence. His petition has been rejected by the court. Not only this, a non-bailable warrant has also been issued against him. Let us tell you that on behalf of the filmmaker, lawyer Durendra K.H. Sharma had applied in court. In this, the first petition was for bail and the second was for a stay on the sentence. However, due to the absence of Ram Gopal Varma, both applications were rejected by the court.

It has been made clear by the court that till Verma does not complete the sentence in the case, he cannot be given any relief in this case.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's name remains in the headlines due to the check bounce case. Let us tell you that it was in the year 2018 when a company filed a complaint of check bounce against Verma's firm. On behalf of the complainant, Rajesh Kumar Patel filed an affidavit in the magistrate court, stating that the company was in the business of providing hard disks for many years. The court took action in this case and now a non-bailable warrant has been issued against the film producer.
