Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has paid tribute to Lata ji through the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He writes, 'Humble tribute to Maa Saraswati's exclusive devotee, Swar Samragini, Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar on her death anniversary. Your Swar Sadhana is a priceless heritage of the music world.' At the same time, Nitin Gadkari also posted a social media post remembering Lata ji. In which he writes, 'Respectful greetings to Swar Kokila Bharat Ratna respected Lata Didi Mangeshkar ji on her death anniversary.'
