The trailer of Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor's film Laal Singh Chaddha was released on Sunday, 29 May. Aamir Khan is all set to return to the big screen after four years. People are eagerly waiting for his film. The trailer of the film was released during the IPL file between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals. The film is a remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks in the lead role. This film was released in 1994.

Forrest Gump was an American comedy-drama film directed by Robert Zemeckis. The film is based on the 1986 novel, written by Winston Groom. It stars Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise, Mykelty Williamson and Sally Field. The story depicts several decades in the life of Forrest Gump (Hanks), a slow-witted and kind-hearted man from Alabama who witnesses and unwittingly influences many of the defining historical events in the United States of the 20th century. The film is quite different from the novel by Winston Groom.

The film did a great job during that time. This is from Tom Hanks' most successful movies. The film became the second highest grossing film of 1994. The Lion was at number one.

Forrest Gump is an ordinary man with a low IQ, but with good intentions. He runs away from childhood with his only friend, Jenny. In the film, Gump's mother continues to teach him how to live life. Gump joins the army to serve in Vietnam. Where he meets two new friends named Dan and Bubba. He is smart enough to have won a medal. Also makes lobster fishing fleet and inspires people to jog. He also writes songs. And meets the President several times. It's all irrelevant though for Forrest Gump, who can only think of his childhood sweetheart, Jenny Curran, who has ruined his life. However, in the end he wants to prove that anyone can love anyone.

The film won six awards

The film won awards for Best Director, Best Picture, Best Actor Tom Hanks, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Visual Effect and Best Film Editing. Also the film was nominated for many awards. Which won several awards including the Golden Globes, British Academy Film Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
