Sharing the news on his Twitter handle, Vijay Deverakonda wrote, "'Kushi' is an explosion of joy, laughter, love and family bond; which will release worldwide on December 23 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Significantly, 'Kushi' was earlier named 'VD11'. The shooting of the film is currently going on in Kashmir.
