The film has rocked the box office even before its pan-India release. 'KGF 2' has broken so many records that it would not be wrong to call it a record machine. The film is also in such tremendous demand among Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi audiences that screens have to be continuously increased to release it. The screens of the film have set a new record in the history of Indian cinema.
The Yash starrer is expected to earn a record consistently at the box office. But even before surprising people with its earnings, 'KGF 2' has acquired a new dimension. The film has broken the record of becoming the first Hindi film after Covid to release on more than 4000 screens. According to the reports, 'The Hindi version of the film has been released on 4400 screens, which is proving it to be the biggest release so far after the pandemic.
According to reports, breaking another record, the Hindi version of the film has sold tickets worth Rs 20 crore just a day before its release. Written and directed by Prashanth Neel, the film tells the story of Rocky (Yash), who is an orphan. It is shown in 'KGF' how he rises from poverty to become the king of a gold mine. The first part of this film was released in the year 2018 and after its release, it became the highest-grossing film in the Kannada industry.
Popular Hindi cinema actor Sanjay Dutt and actress Raveena Tandon were cast in the film by the team of 'KGF Chapter 2'. Apart from these, actors like Prakash Raj, Ishwari Rao, and Rao Ramesh are also included in the film.
