May 28,2026
Following the success of Emergency, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to return to the big screen with another powerful real-life inspired drama, Bharat Bhagya Vidhata. The makers have now unveiled the actress’s intense first look from the film, showcasing her in a fierce and commanding avatar that has already sparked massive buzz across social media.
The recently released motion poster presents Kangana in a high-voltage action-packed role, where she is seen risking her own life to save innocent civilians during a catastrophic crisis. The gripping visuals hint that the film will revolve around unsung heroes who quietly stand at the frontline during national tragedies.
Kangana Ranaut Opens Up About Her Powerful Role
Sharing the motion poster on Instagram, the makers captioned it:
“By doing something extraordinary, they remain known as ordinary people. They are visible, yet they often go unnoticed.”
Speaking about the project, Kangana Ranaut described Bharat Bhagya Vidhata as a heartfelt tribute to the brave individuals who remain behind the scenes during times of crisis.
According to Kangana, the film honors those “heroes in uniform” who may not always receive recognition but become the strongest shield for humanity when disaster strikes. Her statement has further heightened anticipation surrounding the film’s emotional and patriotic storyline.
Film Based on Mumbai Terror Attacks
Reports suggest that Bharat Bhagya Vidhata is inspired by the tragic Mumbai terror attacks and focuses on courage, sacrifice, and resilience during one of India’s darkest moments. The film is directed and written by Manoj Tapadia.
Apart from Kangana, the movie also stars:
Girija Oak
Smita Tambe
Amruta Namdev
Isha Dey
Priya Berde
Suhita Thatte
Rasika Agashe
Aditya Mishra
Zahid Khan
‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’ Release Date and Box Office Clash
The film is officially scheduled to release in theatres on June 12, 2026. Interestingly, it will face a major box-office clash with Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film Main Wapas Aunga.
With Kangana returning in a patriotic, action-driven role after a long gap, industry experts believe Bharat Bhagya Vidhata could emerge as one of the most talked-about Bollywood releases of the year.
