According to Janhvi Kapoor, both her shoulders got injured while training during the preparation of this film. The shooting of this film lasted for about two years. During a promotional event, Janhvi Kapoor explained the reason for this and said that she had learned cricket before the shooting started. The actress said that the film's director Sharan Sharma wanted to shoot the film realistically. 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' will hit the theaters on May 31, 2024.
Janhvi Kapoor further said, 'I suffered a lot of injuries during the shooting and training of the film. Both my shoulders got injured. But full credit goes to both my coaches – Abhishek Nayyar and Vikrant sir. Both of them have worked very hard. At every turn, I thought that I should give up now, but it is not happening. My body was giving up. But I got a lot of courage from him.
In this film, Janhvi Kapoor is playing the role of a doctor, who discovers her passion for cricket. She gets inspiration from her husband (Rajkummar Rao) in the film. In this way, they complete their journey.
