Ever since the name of Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez surfaced in the money laundering case, the troubles of the actress have been increasing continuously. On the same day, the Enforcement Foreign Office filed a charge sheet making the actress an accused in the case. In this sequence, now the reaction of Jacqueline's lawyer has come to the fore on this whole matter. Talking to the media about this, the actress's lawyer Prashant Patil told that the actress has not yet received any official copy of the complaint.
In his statement, he said, “We have come to know about the complaint being filed by the Enforcement Directorate only through media reports. No official information has been received from the Enforcement Directorate or the court in this regard. However, if the reports being reported in the media reports are true then it is unfortunate that my client has been projected as an accused in this case.
The lawyer further said that the actress cooperated fully during the investigation, but even after this she has become a victim of a bigger conspiracy. He said that Jacqueline has been involved in every inquiry conducted till now. Not only this, but he has also handed over all the information to the investigating agency. However, even after this, the agency failed to know that they had been cheated. During this, he also made it clear that Jacqueline will take necessary steps under the law to protect her dignity and freedom.
Earlier, after being made an accused in the whole case, the actress had also shared a post on social media supporting herself. Sharing the post on her Instagram, Jacqueline wrote, 'Dear me, I deserve all the good things in life. I accept myself as I am. I am very powerful, everything will be fine. I am very strong and I can fulfill my dreams too. Yes, I am sure I can do it.
Significantly, in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar money laundering case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday filed a charge sheet, making Jacqueline an accused. According to the information, the ED believes that the actress already knew that the thug Sukesh was a criminal. At the same time, he also knew that Sukesh was an extortionist. This is the reason why ED has clamped down on Jacqueline. However, he has not been arrested yet. But the actress will not be allowed to travel outside the country.
