Indian Pilots Federation targeted Ajay Devgan's 'Runway 34', told the claim of being based on a true incident is false

Ajay Devgan's recently released film 'Runway 34' has claimed that the film is based on true events. Which revolves around the accident in the plane during the journey. The Federation of Indian Pilots has now objected to the film and has termed the claim of the film to be based on true events as false.

On Tuesday, Captain CS Randhawa, Secretary of the Federation of Indian Pilots (FIP), issued a statement targeting 'Runway 34'. According to the report of news agency ANI, the statement said that "the profession of airline pilots has been shown in the film in an unrealistic manner and this may create apprehensions in the minds of the passengers traveling".

Praising the film, Captain Randhawa further said, "The film entertained all of us and we appreciate and respect the artistic approach of the director of the film. A thrilling story should not be confused with a true incident of the ordinary work of airline pilots.", who undertake thousands of journeys in a day with the responsibility of safety, that too without incident and mockery."

Simultaneously, the Federation rejected the claims of the film was based on a true incident. The letter further said, "It is reiterated that the characters depicted in the film do not accurately reflect our profession and our industry maintains a zero-tolerance policy for such behavior and smoking. Our pilots, employees, aviation We are bound by the higher standard of professionalism to uphold the trust reposed in us by the regulator and the people."

Let us tell you that apart from acting in 'Runway 34', Ajay Devgan has also directed it. Apart from Ajay, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles.
