This film, made on India's World Cup win in 1983, is now going to achieve a new achievement. The film '83' will be celebrated at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and along with former Indian cricketer, Kapil Dev will be the guest of honor.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, one of the world's leading and largest Indian film festivals, was organized for the last two years. This year also this festival will be organized once again. The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne will begin on the night of 12 August and the awards ceremony will take place on 14 August.
