Ranveer Singh's '83', one of the most talked-about films of the year 2021, may not have been a success at the box office, but it received a good response from critics. This film, made on India's World Cup win in 1983, is now going to achieve a new achievement. The film '83' will be celebrated at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and along with former Indian cricketer, Kapil Dev will be the guest of honor.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, one of the world's leading and largest Indian film festivals, was organized for the last two years. This year also this festival will be organized once again. The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne will begin on the night of 12 August and the awards ceremony will take place on 14 August. More than 100 films from 23 languages ??have been selected for the festival. To celebrate the diversity of cinema, several Indian stars will also arrive in Melbourne to attend the event.
Kapil Dev eager to participate in the festival
Talking about being a part of the Indian Film Festival 2022, Kapil Dev said, "I am looking forward to being a part of the Indian Film Festival. This is a great platform to celebrate the best of Indian cinema. I truly believe that sports and cinema are two major cultural experiences, not only for Indians but for different communities and countries, that bind us together.
Talking further, Kapil Dev said, 'This is something that has united people for decades. It is a deep emotional connection. We have a love for both cinema and sports and when they come together it is a rewarding experience for all.
