Anurag Kashyap's beloved daughter Alia Kashyap got married last year. She tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Shane Gregoire on 11 December last year in India. Alia's close friends Khushi Kapoor and Suhana Khan attended her wedding, while Anurag Kashyap also had many guests.
Anurag Kashyap recently recalled his daughter's wedding time and said that he wanted to leave that wedding midway and run away, but his close friend stopped him. Anurag Kashyap also told the reason why the Gangs of Wasseypur director wanted to leave his daughter's wedding midway.
Anurag Kashyap's tears did not stop for 10 days.
Anurag Kashyap is very close to his daughter Alia. He often shares many pictures with his darling on social media. Recently, actor and director Anurag Kashyap, while talking exclusively with Hollywood Reporter India, said that watching Alia getting married was a very emotional moment for him.
He said, "I was feeling the same at the time of her wedding as I had at the time of her birth. I don't know why I was crying so much, the same thing happened to me at the time of her wedding. I think I kept crying for 10 days continuously after she left. I don't know why this happened, but I was crying even in front of strangers".
I could not handle this moment.
Anurag Kashyap, while remembering that moment of his daughter's wedding, told which was that moment which he could not handle and wanted to run away somewhere. He said, "When the garland and havan was going on in my daughter's wedding, I was not able to handle that moment. That moment was very emotional for me, I just wanted to run away from there before the reception started.
I was leaving, but my friend Vikramaditya Motwani stopped me and after that, we took a long walk and came back". The director had shared a post on his daughter's wedding and wrote, "She also went. Now I will become stubborn like her".
