Hema Malini: Pride of Nation Award to Hema Malini, honored by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde

Actress Hema Malini, who is constantly engrossed in social services amidst her political responsibilities, was honored with the Pride of Nation Award in Mumbai. He received this honor at the hands of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. During this, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis was also present on the stage. Actor Sonu Sood was also among those who received this honor from the Society Achievers Award for their significant contribution to social activities.
Hema Malini has just returned from Dubai two days back where she was honored with the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Award. Hema Malini also looked overwhelmed after receiving two important awards in two different countries in two days. Talking to 'Amar Ujala', Hema Malini says, 'I am very grateful to the organizers of these awards as well as to all the fans whose love I have been receiving continuously. Whatever Hindi cinema has given me is because of these fans and I am forever grateful to my well-wishers whose love and blessings gave me this fame and through which I could continue to stick to my resolve to serve the people.
Hema Malini started her career in Hindi cinema in the year 1968 with the film 'Sapno Ka Saudagar' and was last seen on the big screen two years ago in the film 'Shimla Mirchi'. The fan following of Hema Malini, who was famous as Dream Girl in the films, was also visible at the award ceremony in Dubai. Although all the stars from Govinda to Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Manushi Chillar, Nargis Fakri, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Shahnaz Gill were present here, this evening of awards was in the name of Hema Malini only.
The most emotional and best moment of these awards came when actor Ranveer Singh entered the stage with the dream girl of Hindi cinema, Hema Malini. While receiving the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award, Hema Malini also took a pinch in her mischievous style and said, 'For the last 15 years, I have been receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award continuously, I am getting it and I think it is going to give me more. You will keep getting it just like that. But, it's good. It feels good to have an award. You all have seen me in films and it is your love that has brought me here.
