These days, actress Gauhar Khan is spending quality time with her husband Zaid Darbar, and son. Gauhar Khan welcomed her son as her first child only last month. The actress keeps sharing updates related to her son and her life with fans every day. At the same time, Gauhar Khan talked about her first film 'Rocket Singh' and actor Ranbir Kapoor, due to which the actress has once again come into the limelight.
In an interview given to the media, Gauhar Khan said, 'If Ranbir Kapoor's film 'Rocket Singh' had released in theaters today, how would she have been the next superstar?' At the same time, the actress said about Ranbir Kapoor that he still has not got his due as an actor.
Talking about the film, the actress said, 'If 'Rocket Singh' were released today, I think considering the kind of film it was, the kind of writing it was, and the kind of actors it was, it would have been a hit. Would have been the biggest blockbuster. This film came much before its time and at that time the industry was not ready for such a film.
The actress added to the conversation by saying that 'Rocket Singh' was a simple but strong film, it probably should have won all the awards that year. However, I did get a nomination for Best Supporting Actress, and also an award. The actress said, 'If it had been released today, I would have probably been the next superstar, but I also believe that everything happens for the good.'
Gauhar Khan has praised her 'Rocket Singh' co-star Ranbir Kapoor and said that she is happy for him. The actress said, 'I love him. I think 'Barfi' is his best film to date. I'm happy for him because he's finally getting the success he deserves, not only as an actor but also at the box office. I believe he is a fantastic actor. Let us tell you that the film 'Rocket Singh' directed by Shimit Amin was released in 2009. Gauhar Khan debuted in Bollywood with this film.
