This year has been very memorable for Shahrukh Khan. He made a strong comeback after four years by making a blockbuster film like Pathan. At the same time, his next film Jawan broke all the box office records. Now the actor is soon bringing Dunki to the audience. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people about the film. Recently, director-choreographer Farah Khan has made a big revelation about Shahrukh and Dunki.
Farah made a big revelation
Farah told in a conversation that she had presented a similar script in front of Shahrukh, which the actor had rejected a few years ago. In conversation with Haarsh Lambachiya and Bharti Singh, Farah Khan revealed that she was shocked to see the promo of Dunki, as its story is very similar to the old version of Happy New Year.
Was surprised to see the promo for Dunki
He said, “I wrote a version of Happy New Year which Shahrukh did not like. It's so weird because now I'm watching the promo for Dunki... That Happy New Year was about 4 guys who want to go to America and cross the ocean and the only way they can do it is to compete in a dance competition. Take part, because the finals are in Las Vegas.” Farah further said that Shahrukh Khan did not like it. Farah said, "Then Shahrukh said I would look too old. I am too old to play this young boy."
Such is the story of Shahrukh's upcoming film
The promo of Dunki states that there is a group of people who want to go to America, even if they have to take an illegal route to get there. Some fans also speculated that the film was a spin-off of Munna Bhai Chale America, which was to be made with Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, but it never took off.
Happy New Year proved to be a superhit
Talking about Happy New Year, Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, and Abhishek Bachchan were seen in it. The film collected Rs 397 crore worldwide at the box office and was a huge hit. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki stars Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani and is scheduled to release in theaters on December 22. The film will clash with Prabhas's Salaar on Christmas.
