In a recent conversation with PTI, Emraan Hashmi talked about how it is important to maintain a balance to work with new people. The actor said, "When you cross a certain age, when new kinds of actors and filmmakers come, it becomes very important to connect and be relevant to them. It is very important to learn from them because I think that is what relevance is all about.
When you connect with their minds reinvent yourself and think about characters, genres, and films in a new way, and don't live in the past. That's where the whole game of connection and relevance begins."
Told about the changes made to himself
As an artist, Imran said that he likes to change things and challenge himself. The actor said, “When I did ‘Bard of Blood’ in 2017-2018, that was a change. If I was just going backward and thinking I would keep doing what I do, it would be counterproductive to relevance. The industry is going through a different phase where we need to rethink the type of films we make. Make films that are a little more rooted and bring out the spirit of India to the audience.
